Bergeron's City Market Chefs Receive Top Honors in the 2018 Fete Rouge Food & Wine Fete
Chef Lauren Silvernail and Chef Curtis Froelich of Bergeron's City Market took top honors in the 2018 Fete Rouge Food & Wine Fete presented by the Baton Rouge Epicurean Society.
Chef Lauren Landry Silvernail won the gold medal in the dessert category for her Vanilla Bean Cheesecake with Salted Caramel Mousse on a Cookie Crust with Hazelnut Brittle, which also took BEST OF SHOW! Also, taking a top honor with the gold medal in the meat category was Executive Chef Curtis Froelich for his Cherry & Pinot Glazed Pork Cheeks on a Spinach and Smoked Almond Puree with Sweet Potato Straws. Sous Chef Rickie Daigle and Chef Matthew Keene also compete and represented Bergeron's City Market exceptionally.
